[VHFcontesting] DC injector for ICOM preamp?

 make sure of the rated rf power input for your model preamp.. I thought 
some were just made for the 10 watt radios like the ic-451a

also note.. the Icom sends 12 volts down the coax during receive  and 
removes the  power on tx.. the preamps  are not rf switched or 
anything,  so you will have to mimic that also..

I see Down East microwave sells some injectors..

BT    Pre amp DC power inserter, >1GHz Type "N" (F) conn     40.00

BTM    Pre amp DC power inserter, >1GHz Type "N" conn (M) on Input, (F) 
on Output     45.00

BTL    Pre amp DC power inserter, < 1GHz. Type "N" (F) conn     40.00

BTLM    Pre amp DC power inserter, < 1GHz. Type "N" conn (M) on Input, 
(F) on Output     45.00
