While you are working the contest this weekend, please think about participating in the SVHFS design contest. See the SVHFS site for the contest rules. It's pretty simple.

 One of the themes this year is  encouraging people to try building or assembling neat stuff from rudimentary parts. You really should share your experiences with the rest of us. You might even win some neat prizes for doing it!             

The weather in Orlando, in late April is much nicer than DC during the Cherry Blossom festival. The Hotel is bargain priced for a Holiday Inn. The UCF campus is a going place with lots of activity. 

Invite a student you know to attend the conference. Inquire about special rates at the web-site.  SVHFS.org.
