I also have a sign in The War Wagon that says "Western Lake County Amateur
Radio Contest and Training Vehicle". That in itself usually wards them off.

I always keep a copy of my license with my registration (which has a
call plate) .. comes in handy at 2:30AM when you're trying to explain
to the officer just what you're doing at the top of the cemetery hill
..
