1. Thanks to the VUAC for the compromise they did in the rover rules last year.
2. I hope the VUAC can have some pull to create a roving VUCC or other type of acknowlegement for grids activated.
3. If this is outside the the VUAC's relm, then we should petition the ARRL ourselves.
4. Why? Because it will make it more rewarding fo those who spend their money on the gas to do this.
5. Roving should be seen and fostered as an activity outside of a contest. IE mobile with an intent to activate grids.
6. The ARRL could keep a talley of grids activated per band as well as sections/states activated and post them as standings.
7. Why? This might foster some vhf activities from traveling hams such as land yaught hams and truckers. Imagine the trucker who equipts himself with 900 mhz halos and 1.3 ghz big wheels in hopes to catch another mobile or home station to collect another grid.
8. I would imagine it would start on 2 meters and each station would ask what bands you have and try to work their way up.
9. well maybe we are happy working the same old people until a band opening and Im wasting my breath.
