Fascinating review.

I have tried Rovering a few times in contests with a single band (like the 
Sprints) and the CQWW VHF with two bands one year. It was a lot of work 
for me because my antennas aren't mounted on the vehicle and I had to get 
out and set up the station at each stop. I fugured 15 minutes for one band 
and 25-30 minutes for two bands.

I know it's a little easier if you have the antennas on the vehicle, as 
shown at that website. But I still have to admire the people who do 
Rovering. All that driving would get to me. And I don't think most have 
the luxury of beams on 15-foot booms. So working over any distance is more 
difficult for them except perhaps on 6 meters during an opening.
