[VHFcontesting] Rover Misconceptions

I note that some are of the belief that grid circling rovers must operate as Unlimited Rovers. Not true! Under the current rules, any rover is allowed 100 qso's with any other rover, regardless of how made, including grid circling. Only those wanting to exceed 100 qso's per rover must operate as Unlimited.

A 10 band 2 rover team can run 40 qso's at a grid corner if one rover remains fixed and the other does a sweep. If the fixed rover does a rotation, 160 qso's can be made without moving to another set of grid corners. Easy to do for big points gain. Also easy for some to cover one grid corner first day, and one or more on the second as more hours available on the second day. Add more rovers to double, triple or more the qso points, with no increase in grid multipliers.
