Something similar happened to me too, but with the MEM/VFO Ch know. You can
fix this yourself. It's not really hard if you're somewhat confident in
fixing electronics, it just takes some time getting to and removing the
board that has the encoder switch mounted to. I fixed it with Mouser part
number 688-EC12E2424404:

They're only $2.66 each, so I got two in case it happens again. :)

I did unsubscribe from that list, too, for the same reason.
