[VHFcontesting] A distance scoring contest

It is interesting to read the reaction to the Range scoring used in  
the 1982 contest. The reaction, at least those published reactions,  
seemed very positive, although there were some comments about the  
complications with scoring and reporting. I notice a lot of familiar  
calls in that contest that are on the list today, so maybe they can  
tell us what their reaction to this was.  - Duffey
