I just called Mike, KB7ME who is in place at a location that K6AAW
recommended called High Divide a little NE of Crescent City. He will be QRV
early checking the headings and will operate there for the contest. He is on
6m through 1.2GHz with yagis and power.

He said he will be on the air Monday morning if anyone needs a chat while he
is tearing down. 

Lightening, so far, has been east of him and he now has fog and marine air.
Good sign, hopefully the convection will stay east of his location. Marine
air should help that and possibly help propagation on 2m and up.

Looking forward to working everyone this weekend! I'm hearing lots of 6m
stuff at the noise level tonight.
