I've made many MS WSJT contacts however about 25% of mine were not
pre-arranged but random. Try tuning to 144.140 and call CQ U4
(example: CQ KI4FIA U4), put your rig in SPLIT mode and listen to 144.144
for someone to respond. When you get a response go out of SPLIT mode and
continue the QSO on 144.144 (or what ever freq you were listening
to). This method works great for me using the IC-910H, excellent SPLIT
mode operation.

I've made more 2mtr DX qso's this way then sitting around waiting for Es or
Tropo on 144.200.

George - KI4FIA
