And I made several contacts on 6 meters, which was open to the extreme  
south east and south west.  I also got some good information about my  
station.  Someone had told me before that I had a hum on my signal.   
So I asked the person I was talking to, and they said no, there's no  
hum.  But another got on there and said, yes sir, you have a hum.   
Then the first station came back and said that on second thought, yes  
I did have a hum.

So I removed my mike, and put in the stock mike on my FT-450 and then  
they told me it was gone.

So now I have some work to do on that connector before the contest,  
because it's a Heil Pro-Set, which are great for working contests.

rules, spirit, roving, circling....sorry I guess that was in my  
keyboard buffer.
