When I first saw that, my thoughts went immediately to mobile devices... 
adding apps for mobile devices to do logging with would be nifty.

In other words, log on my iPhone, (or Android phone) even if I'm not in 
cellular coverage (store-and-forward), and have it all show up later in 
LotW... why drag a laptop around in the modern smartphone era.

Sell the copies through the various "app stores" for the devices for a 
few bucks a copy ($5 or even higher if it's GOOD software) and pay for 
the development work...

Sure has a better ROI than the silly never-ending website project.  Just 
a thought...
