The deadline for hotel room reservations has been extended to April 8th.
There are two other activities going on at the university that weekend and
we are expecting the supply of hotel rooms after April 8th to be zero.

For those of you who have confirmed that you will be submitting a paper
and/or presentation for the conference Robin, K4IDC will need it in his
hands by April 19th in order to have time to burn it onto the CD which will
be provided to the conference attendees. Sooner is even better.

There will be a banquet Saturday night but there will NOT be a luncheon on
Friday. We are still looking for a banquet speaker so if you can suggest
someone please contact Jim, W4KXY at w4kxy at bellsouth dot net.

On Friday we intend to run tours of the Space Science Center and the 21
meter dish antenna on an ad hoc basis, with sign up sheets at the
registration table. We will set the times based on the other events
happening that day. We will also have a sky show in the theater that day as
well, which we will set up the same way. Shows are an hour long, the tour of
the 21 meter dish antenna will be an hour, and the building tour is 1/2
hour.

Conference chairman Jeff, WA3ZKR is hosting an eyeball QSO party,
particularly for the early arrivals who may have traveled far! It will not
be elaborate, just dogs and burgers, with a cooler of assorted beers and
sodas, chips, etc. It is planned for the afternoon of April 22, from 2-9
PM. The address is:

Jeff Kruth

317 Briarwood Lane

Morehead, KY 40351

Jeff lives almost right beside I-64, very close to the hotels. You can find
him on MapQuest, etc. Jeff asks that if you are driving, bring your gear
and show off your work! It is always nice to see what the other guy is
doing. There will be lots of lab benches for display, secure areas, plenty
of room at the conference.
