[VHFcontesting] Icom AG-25 mast mount preamp

You dont have any lightning protection hooked to your coax where it 
would ground out the dc for the preamp do ya

Have you tried it in the shack,? do you hear the relays switching?

Is there any change in the noise level/s-meter when turning the preamp 
on and off in the radio menu/switch.

have you verified there is dc out of the radio coax while in receive 
mode while the preamp is switched on?

More than likely relays are pushed to their limit at 100 watts.. also 
they might not have enough isolation over 100 watts, leaking too much 
signal to the active device.
