[VHFcontesting] 222 Mhz question

It's interesting. Around here there are very few FM stations on during
VHF contests that I know of. I took an FM rig and vertical antenna
along with me a couple times (I usually operate portable) and only
worked a couple people and had to explain the contest to them to get
QSO's.

On the other hand, just about every contester active in the contests
who has 144 also has 222. Looking over my logs, the number of 222 MHz
CW/SSB QSO's is usually roughly the same as the number of 144 MHz
QSO's.
