Regarding which transverters are the "best"....... DEM certainly has a great product I've built a couple 902 Mhz transverters. I've also owned DB6NT's transverters for the microwave bands... expensive but hard to beat. One company has not been mentioned here is Elecraft. I've built all 4 models.... 50, 144, 222, and 432 MHz. They all work great and have the ability to be jumped for any configuration. I really like the Elecraft transverters.
