[VHFcontesting] Thunderbolt GPS 10 MHz Clock

Has anyone succeeded in getting the monitoring software (tboltmon.exe) for  
the Trimble Thunderbolt GPS to run under Windows 7? I used to run this 
software  on an old XP box, that had a real serial port. Can't seem to get it to 
work with  7, using a USB/serial adapter.
