[VHFcontesting] VHF contest tips, tricks, and techniques

On Two Meters, I will listen to 144.200 for a few minutes. If I do not 
hear anyone, I will call CQ. I will then move the antenna 30 degrees 
and call again. I do this until I make a contact. If I stir up some 
activity, I move up or down 10. This seems to work. But, it also 
irritates a few people. I have been told to get off the call 
frequency, a few times. I thought this is what the call frequency was 
for?
