HOT NEWS: Before Field Day, there be limited use of "N6R" on the W.A.R.C. Bands from 17 - 26 June 2014.  Between 2100 - 2300 UTC 20, 21, 22 June 2014, 18.080 MHz +/- 5 KHz C.W. will be active. It is anticipated that  other times for CW & SSB on 12 & 17 Meters will scheduled also on 20, 21, 22 June 2014. Please refer to this web site for additional updates. To Honor the Lives of President Ronald Reagan & Mrs. Nancy Reagan, N6R will operate Field Day 2014 (28 - 29 June) from the Grounds Of The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum, Simi Valley, CA in grid DM04og. 
Operations are currently planned on AT LEAST: 80m CW, 75m LSB, 40m LSB/CW, 20m USB/CW, 15m USB/CW, 10m USB/CW, 6m USB, 2m USB/FM, 70cm USB/FM by VCARS/SSARC  members: KG6BCL, AG6JF, NS6V, KE6SCS, WI6O, KK6UE, WA6FXT, N6ZE, KI6OQ, W6JWP, KF6MXB, AG6AY, WB6L, K6AVI, KF6DVG, N6XEK, KI6MZ, N6IWY, W6NCT, KQ6NO, KJ6VZC. N6IWY plans to exhibit his "Vintage Radio Display". N6R plans to operate near: 28.400 MHz, 21.320 MHz, 14.255 MHz, 7.260 MHz. Stay tuned for additional updates.
The Ventura County Amateur Radio Society (VCARS) will be joined by the Simi Settlers Amateur Radio Club (SSARC) for Field Day 2014.
Visitors are welcome to visit the "N6R" Field Day Operations whenever the Library & Museum road entrance gate is 'open'. 
 Most of N6R's HF stations will operate from Grid Locator DM04og12 while 75m, 10m, 6m, 2m, & 70cm stations will operate from a hilltop in DM04og11SV
