I cant wait. I plan to KATN in the September FM only and then go for the gold in January. Snow, high winds, sub-zero temps at 4500 ft. Locked/Locked 35's & chains on all 4. Bring it on baby!!!
New M2 220 & 440 Yagi's and a 100W TE amp (with pre amp) and all N connector cables installed for September. I plan on have a bigger 144 Yagi and amps for 220 & 144 installed by January. Contacted over a thousand Hams adjacent to FM08 requesting QSO's in September and hopefully it will catch on for January. Contacts were sparse last January, I will be changing that.
As suggested back in April I will run my Yagi's at 45 degrees for half a day as an experiment to see if I can dig up some stacked yagi SSB folks who will flip the switch to FM. If it works I will spend a lot more time at 45 degrees in January.
