Can you hear it on 2M? If so, it is much easier to DF, on 2M or 432. I use my FT 817 and my Arrow satellite yagi, to locate noise, with great success. Buddy WB4OMG I've been suffering from a strong (S9+10dB) noise source on 6M for several months.
