Hello,
WA1TE and KG6CIH are going to be in your vicinity for at least Saturday. It
might be a little rough getting you guys on Sunday, but we'd love to make
what contacts we can.
Saturday -
Mount Equinox, not quite on summit FN33kd
Hogback Mountain, FN32ou
Sunday -
Bow Hill, NH FN43fc
Boxboro Ham Convention, FN42fl
ex-AT&T Microwave Site, FN41cu
if time allows,
Soapstone Mountain, FN31tx
We'll also be limited rover under our club's call, K1SIG/R. We're ALSO
running an IC-746 on 2m, hard to pass up 100W out of the box. I also plan
on using the Rover Status app, so we should be easy to find on APRS. My
cell is 978-496-7053 if you'd like to text or call. We'll be on Equinox
until 4-4:30, the road closes so we need to get down there or we'll be
stuck there until morning. It'll probably be around 6:30-7 when we're on
hogback, where we'll spend the rest of our waking Saturday hours.
Hope to sync up and make so Q's. This is our second time ever in the rover,
last year we had absolutely no idea what we were doing and lost almost all
of Sunday because of the storms that came through. We still managed 1st
Place New England Limited Rover - it's a ton of fun! You had us beat by a
factor of 10, so I guess that's something to aim for.
Good luck this weekend and 73,
Sean Waite, WA1TE (2m/70cm op K1SIG/R)
