[VHFcontesting] WSJT-X NA VHF Contest Mode — A Solution Looking for a Problem

Just thinking out loud here, if WSJT knows what band you are on, why can't it automatically set the config to give grids? I couldn't program my way out of a wet paper bag but it can't be that hard!

Jim, you will find that a large number of HF-centric FT8 operators will call you with TX2 instead of TX1 to "save time".  If this happens and they are NOT in NA VHF Contest mode, you will never receive a grid from them without prompting.
