[VHFcontesting] N6ZE's Plans For The ARRL 222 MHz & Up Distance Contest This Weekend

For the 222 MHz & Up Contest, Woodie, WA6WDY & I plan to be on a 2000+' ridgeline in the Santa Monica Mountains in Grid DM04qb from ~~0800 - 1100PDT on Sunday 04August2019.

Planned bands are:

a.  222.1 MHz USB/CW & 223.5 MHz FM Simplex with yagi (hopefully ~75 watts)

b. 432.1 MHz USB/CW & 446.0 MHz FM Simplex with yagi (hopefully ~~ 75 watts)

c. 902.1 & 927.5 MHz FM Simplex with yagi  (2 watts)

d. 1296.1 MHz USB/CW & 1294.5 MHz FM Simplex with yagi (10 watts)

Complete Exchange requires exchange of full Callsigns & 6 digit Grid Locator 

For those who do not have complete rules memorized, please refer to : http://www.arrl.org/222-mhz-and-up-distance-contest. The Contest Actually begins at 1100PDT on Saturday and runs for 24 hours.

Note: Because this contest relies on cumulative distances, you can work the same station more than once, but count only contact with the longest distance achieved.
