[VHFcontesting] Field Day, FT 8 and Six Meters

Remember you can setup any frequency you chose in the software and are not
restricted to what comes out of the box when it is installed.

I thought it was decided that  .323 was the was the inter-continental DX
frequency not an over flow for domestic QSOs and contests.

Why would one want an alternate FT8 watering hole for a contest  or general
purposes QSOs 10 kHz away?
It would make more sense to pick frequencies every 3kHz i.e..  .310,.313,
316 or something like that. Someone with a rig capable of a bandwidth say
between 3 and 5 kHz  would get some overlap with the adjacent channel and
could monitor and decode QSOs there as well.
