Hello Group!

Now that the INQP is over it’s time to look forward to mynext two events, the June VHF QSO Party and Field Day, where I am always theVHF+ guy.

Unfortunately, the K9ZF radio ranch had a rough winter.  My stock pile of designated portable antennastook a lot of damage from the winter wind storms.  For six meters, both my Par Stressed Moxonand my beat up old veteran 3 element yagi took a lot of damage.  I can repair the Moxon for the Rover, but theyagi is going to need replaced.  Well, Iwas hoping to upgrade to a 5 element anyway, so it seems now is the time…

On two meters, my trusty old Cushcraft 10 element yagi tooksome serious bends.  I’ve been rovingwith this old beam for years and I’ve refurbished and “un-bent” it manytimes.  But this time even the boom has aserious bend, so it’s time to replace it as well.

By some minor miracle, both of my 222 yagis survived withoutdamage!  J

432 wasn’t so lucky. My M^2 432-18 suffered a broken driven element assembly.  Half the driven element and T match broke cleanoff.  Does anyone have a driven elementassembly you are willing to part with?

So I’m looking for a 6 meter yagi, preferably 5elements.  I also need a 2 meter yagi, something with a 10 to 15 foot boom.  AndI also need the driven element assembly for a 432-18.

Shipping large antennas is a large pain, but if you’re withina couple hours of EM78el, pick up is an option. Also, I plan to be at Hamvention on Saturday J 73 Dan  K9ZF at yahoo.com
