Also I expect to run a mix of analog and digital on the usual frequencies. I will try and keep my eye on the band scope on the 7300 and qsy as needed.

I expect to make at least a few SSB cq calls as well on Monday. Probably on 50.125

Good luck all in the contest.

I anticipate running one or two skeds upon arrival but should be on the air calling CQ by 8:30 am or earlier on 50.260 The site I I have in mind seems to have a reasonable view to the South and West. I plan to call 1st, and use 15 second sequences with Sh off.
>>
>> I have never actually visited my planned location in the south west corner of CO92 but will hopefully visit the site on Sunday afternoon or evening and confirm access and perhaps do a brief Sunday afternoon or evening activation via meteor scatter on 50.260 If I decide to run contest mode after the contest ends I will use the default CQ TEST VE7AFZ message (I will hopefully remember to remove the /R from my call after the contest ends.) If I don't send the default CQ TEST VE7AFZ message I won't be using contest mode. I have no idea what the internet access situation will be during this trip. I have slack running on my roving laptop and will use it if possible. I expect to at least be able to get internet access on Sunday evening if I need to send out any updates.
