The 223.5 MHz FM / 222.1 MHz SSB/CW SPRINT, the Third of the Fall 2020 VHF/UHF SPRINT Series will be held on Tuesday evening, 29 September2020, from 7:00PM - 11:00PM PDT.
Pete, N6ZE, plans to operate from about 8:00PM - 9:00PM PDT because the Presidential Debate runs from 6:00PM - 7:30PM PDT!
N6ZE plans to operate from a Thousand Oaks, CA, hilltop in DM04.
Please consider getting on to make contacts, after Tuesday's Ventura Co ACS/ARES Nets to see how far you can work without using a repeater! This can be great fun as well as expanding your familiarity of non-repeater operations.
For each Contact (QSO) you shall exchange complete Callsigns &  Grid Locator. Everyone located in Ventura County is in Grid DM04.

Scoring of the SPRINT is easy: Multiply number of QSOs times the number of Grids Worked for your total score.
Send your entry, without any log needed! to the 3830 Rumor Page:      https://www.3830scores.com/           Then click on the 222 MHz SPRINT in the "Current Contest" listing to display the entry form.
Complete SPRINT rules and info can be found here:    http://svhfs.org/2020FallSprintRules.pdf
I hope to contact lots of Ventura County operators as well as helping them to make QSOs away from the local area too.
Questions or Comments:  e-mail to N6ZE at aol.com or N6ZE at arrl.net
(Note: to save time, I am sending only one 222MHz announcement to area hams!)

Bt73Pete, N6ZE
