Well, after a rousing 144 MHz Sprint yesterday, it is just another run
of the mill 222 Night for this evening. That means that you should be
making sure everything works just fine to get ready for next week when
the Eyes of the northern hemisphere will be on the 222 band on next
Tuesday for the 222 Sprint. There will be excitement and prizes galore.
Some lucky 222 op will have a chance to win a trailer and a fully
equipped bass boat!    I am kidding about the bass boat. Come to think
of it I am also lying about all the prizes, but don't hold that against
me.  I wasn't kidding about the excitement.  Hopefully we might get some
of the FB conditions that happened on Monday night during the 144
Sprint. With warmer weather comes the chance of decent tropo,

I got my first really good days of warm weather and I am hauling stuff
back up to the shack. It finally hit 60 degrees and it feels like
summer. (Almost)     So be on 222 tonight after supper. Activity starts
on the East Coast around 7 PM or 23:00 UT.  I am praying for good
conditions like we had last week.  We also need activity. Please make an
appearance if you are able. I will accept only a doctor's note if you
are physically unable to show up.

A small wrinkle is that I am going to try a solar powered 222 Night this
evening. I will be running less power, so the trick is to see if you can
hear me tonight!
