I had a decent night working the 222 Sprint. I logged 20 contacts in 14
Grids. For you guys up there in the middle of 222 Land (New England) that's
a lot of contacts down here in southern Virginia. I worked 2-SSB, 1-CW,
1-FM and the remainder were FT8. I also heard several others that just
faded away and never heard again. I tried unsuccessfully MSK with W5EME.
Band conditions were "variable" at best. VE3NS went from -17 to +1 in
about 5 seconds. Maybe some of us should give Q65 a try to see how well
it does for terrestrial. Maybe one of the regular Tuesday nights I'll put
out some calls in that mode.
