Good evening, contesters! K0AXX/R is ready for Saturday. Myself and Ryan,
NV5E, will begin our Texas rove near Pt Arthur, TX and work our way in a
northwest direction toward Gun Barrel City and then eastward to
Jacksonville, TX (my overnight spot is at around 800' asl). Overnight, we
will work primarily FT(x), MSK, Q65. We will rest a little and be up in
time for coffee and troposcatter before we head east toward LA and then
south to the Jasper, TX area to end the contest.
Planned grids are EM30, EL29,EM20, EM10, EM11, EM12, EM22, EM21, EM31. I am
never good at estimating times in grids. I know I will be in EM22/21
vicinity by 0130 UTC Sunday for the night (approx 12 hours) and will take
our time getting down to EM31 with some passes back to EM20 prior to last
call.
We look forward to a great, safe weekend and look forward to logging as
many of you as we can.
73 Will K0AXX
