Hello VHFers

Don't forget that this day is really and actually Tuesday, We all want
to make it a fantastic evening with as many people on the air and making
noise on the 222 MHz band.  If you have 222 MHz gear but always seem to
be busy on Tuesday night, that is no excuse for missing this episode of
222 Night.  The following are excuses that will not be allowed this evening:

I am doing Wordle
I was watching Gilligan's Island
I got watching Youtube videos and stupid people tricks
Locusts have descended onto my corn field
My cat just had a litter of  kittens
I need to watch my smart phone
My son just won the Nobel Prize for molecular biology. We are going to Oslo.
My daughter just got out of prison and we are picking her up tonight.

The following are the only acceptable excuses for missing 222 Night.

I dropped dead two nights ago. Sorry but I can't make 222 night this
time.  Sincere apologies and it won't happen again.
My entire 222 station is temporarily taken apart and is going on an EME/
MS  dxpedition to Wyoming. It is being back packed up Pilot Peak with
batteries.

If none of your excuses fit the above two correct excuses, you are
obliged to make the effort and get on the 222 band and try to make a
contact.  If you do go to Wyoming and pick a different peak, you might
still be excused, but the ruling is subject to the Board of Directors of
the 222 MHz band. Action starts after dinner and goes for as long as
conditions warrant.  222.100 is the calling frequency.

If you are in a lightly populated hamster area, you should check the
ON4KST (Region 2 144/432 Chat)  chat page and try to set up skeds.

I am hoping to be on a bit before 23:00 UT. The Hepburn map looks
dismal, so what is better than to prove the map wrong and make a good
contact on 222!!

CU There
