I submitted my brief comments today on the email form to the FCC. Please submit your comments that are due by Sept 5th. Rick K1DS
"As an amateur radio FCC licensee K1DS, for the past 30 years since we were granted privileges in the 902-928MHz band, I have been an active communicator on this band using narrow-band code, voice and digital communications. This band has been especially useful for community communication among amateur licensees and provides a very useful spectrum for emergency communications. There is a large source of surplus and removed from service cellphone equipment that has made this an easily accessible frequency for amateur operators. Preserving the lower segments of 902 and 903MHz for amateur operators should be a priority and regulation of other services operating near these bands to prevent harmful interference."
