Yes, there is no going back to the pre-digital era. Yeah, it is just not the same. Yeah, I do kind of miss it. I think I have discovered that I don't like microphones. When I contest on HF, I do CW only. On VHF, I use WSJT or CW and only get on SSB when someone asks. It just suits my temperament better to use WSJT and I can make more contacts, faster. Just my two cents...
