I am trying to find someone who sells these. Maybe Down East?

Just some thoughts on the conversion. All of the new modules are FET and don't use 8v for bias, they use 5v so you need to add a regulator to bring the 8v down to 5v. The FET units also take less drive so you might need an attenuator. The good news is they will put out more so you might see 20w !!!
One of my 736's I install a new 70cm module and it worked out fine after doing the above changes.

Thanks for the heads up on the conversion. Mike

Convert it to the RA18H1213G which is a replacement for the obsolete M57762
power module. The RA18H1213G requires significantly less drive power (200 mW
vs 1 watt) and a lower gate voltage (+5VDC at 1 mA vs +9VDC at 500 mA),
resulting in a more efficient and simpler hybrid power amplifier design that
does not require a heat sink for the control pin or bypass components for
the hybrid. There are several sources on the web detailing how to do the
conversion.

If someone has the final rf amplifier section in a module they don't need
please let me know. I have purchased what I had hoped was a good M57762
module but got a lemon. Thanks Mike
