[VHFcontesting] Icom IC-471 repair question

Check the capacitors in the oscillator RF path.   I've repaired several
IC-375A (220MHz) with similar issues.    Capacitors in this series rig
appear to be reaching end-of-life and are becoming a high failure component.

I recently purchased a very nice condition 471A radio. Knowing it had a
problem and looking for a winter project. The problem is no USB or LSB. CW
and FM work fine. I have traced the issue to lack of voltage at the SSB
oscillator circuit. Has anyone had this issue with a 271 or 471 radio ?
