wOO Hoo Dave, you win the prize hands down.
Pete has been QRT the past week due to rig problems.
I logged 16, furthest K3SK FM07.
I think some of the ones I missed are K!WHS-only QSO's,
rarely or never worked here. They work K1WHS and sign off.
I quit at 8:30 so missed WA3EOQ, maybe next time if I can stay awake.
The Windows I'm using here is:
Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021
A specialized version of 64 bit Windows 10, intended
mainly for commercial and medical equipment, ATM's etc.
It's leaner, faster, and runs anything Windows 10 Pro x64 can.
It will receive security updates through January, 2032.
You can either "upgrade" from Windows 10 Pro to this version,
keeping all your files and Apps in place, or do a clean
install. Note, you'll need a new license key to activate it.
I successfully "upgraded" to this version on 6 computers so far.
Windows 11, especially 25H2 is a a bloated mess IMO.
I have it on my wife's laptop, it's great for browsing the web,
chatGPT AI stuff, playing games online etc. Not so much for Ham
or Electronics engineering work. After IoT LTSC expires I'll
switch to Linux if I'm still alive. Have it already installed as
a Dual-boot second OS on two of my computers.
The only Windows program I like that doesn't run on Linux
is N3FJP's logging software. Everything else I need works great.
Linux is less that a tenth the size of Windows 11.

> It was a pretty goodnight on 222 MHz when you consider that we are
getting close to the end of the year and the dead of winter. I worked
about 20 stations this evening on 222 MHz. From memory I worked KA2ENE
on ft8 in FN13, N1SV FN42, WW1Z FN42 in NH, N1ROZ FN32, WZ1V Good Buddy
Ron in FN31, WA1T in FN43, WB2VVV in Campton NH FN43, W1AUV FN32,
WA1MBA in FN51, w1XIV FN34, W1GHZ and W1AIM also in FN34, KC3BVL FN20,
N2JQR in FN13, W9KXI FN12, W2BPY FN13, K3SK in FM07 using Q65B-30 for my
longest QSO at 570 miles. WA1RKS in FN32 on SSB, My last QSO was at
about 02:00 UT when WA3EOQ showed up. I was expecting a rough time, but
I heard Howard right away with full calls and he was sending his grid. I
sent RR and my grid and he was absolutely Q5 for the next transmission
sending RRs and such. This was the best contact we had in the last few
weeks. It was about as easy as it gets for a 502 mile path at the 100
watt level. Howard was initial contact # 20. No VEs were in evidence,
so I tuned to 222.062 and managed to copy VE3WCC/b weakly in FN15.
I never heard K1PXE, so I missed out on the $75 gift certificate at the
Used Fish Market. Other than that, the evening was a great success. I
know I missed a few. WA3NUF and I never hooked up and I think there were
a few more on that I missed. I saw that AA4ZZ was on along with K9MRI,
WQ5S, K8TQK, and a number of others spread around the country. It is
great to see all the activity on a Tuesday evening. In other news,
WA3EOQ tells me that his volleyball league is moving to Mondays in
January so he will be getting on much earlier on Tuesdays as a result.
That is good news.
