Thanks for all the great reports on 222, Dave, Terry.  I have tried from 
EM55bd but I might as well be in Africa.  I do have a high antenna, 
K1FO, 17' boom, SSB preamp at the top of the tower, hardline, 130 watts 
but there ain't anyone on around here.  BTW, my Icom 375 has developed 
an encoder problem.  I'm thinking a transverter would be less expensive 
than sending it to the guy in Washington state who can fix it.  FE and 
UPS rates are totally out of control.
