Hi 222 MHz ops

The Moon is setting here in Maine this evening at about .  The
degradation is about 2.5 dB, so not great, but getting better. I am not
sure if anyone will be on 222 EME, but i am always willing to try
something, especially on a Tuesday night. Moonset is just about 01:30 UT
or 8:30 PM local time here on East Coast.  I am hoping to be QRV at
23:30 UT and will monitor the HB9Q Chat page if anyone wants to try an
EME attempt.  Most local activity starts at about 00:00 UT  and Tuesday
nights are a good time to check out your 222 gear, as activity is high.
Many folks use ON4KST 144/432 Region 2 Chat page.  It is a good way to
let folks know if you are active and live a bit off the beaten path
between Boston and Philadelphia. This is the last 222 activity period
before Thanksgiving, so no chance falling asleep from Tryptophane
overload.  I hope to hear you tonite!
