Hello Dave
Maybe we could match up the four yagis with a 1500 watt amplifier. I
have the amps here and they need the output filters and protection
circuits. That adds cost but we are starting at $0.00 for the amplifier.
I need to find some good coax relays and those are not cheap anymore, as
the inexpensive surplus ones have mostly dried up. Anyway, maybe we can
find someone in W or KY to take them. A good way is to notify radio
clubs in that area with a plan. I did that for New Brunswick and Nova
Scotia and have found a candidate for my last 500watt amp. The VE ham is
getting the transverter, amp, and even a tower mounted preamp box with a
16 element yagi. I hope to get it up there this fall.
I will be working on the new 1500 watt Thales amps this winter. They
use six BLF-278 FETs.
