[VHFcontesting] [NEWSVHF] 222 Activity Night

Still do not know the source of my noise but it is external to my place.   Hard to get a direction but appears to be east/northeast from me.   It lasted all day today, about 24 hours total before quitting a short time ago.    Bands are very quiet now, but today 2m thru 432 were unusable because of strong static burst all day.

That is a great total GB Ron,

I missed WA2LTM and for some reason. I also could,not hook up with K3SK but not for trying. I heard him most every time on Q65B but Dave could not hear me as he had some noise issues. I copied him at about -25 or 26, but one time he was loud at -22. Still, no contact. I added WW1Z, VE2JOK, VE2GDR and WB2VVV on SSB, and WA3EOQ on CW. Howard was 529 and he copied me at 539, so it was a very good night even with all the snow around.  I could not try with N1YCQ as he had rig problems and lost RF drive.I tried for 15 minutes with K9MRI. He heard me, but I heard zip via meteors. I think I ended up with 24 contacts. A few on FT8 but most on SSB.
