[VHFcontesting] Don't forget, tonight is 222 Activity Night

Hi VHFers

In the middle of January, there is not much to do outdoors, so why not 
park your carcass in the chair in front of the 222 rig and make a few 
contacts.   Getting on 222 is much more fun than other pursuits of late, 
like protesting against the Ayatolah in Iran.  I tried that once and 
found out that it was a bad idea.  So, instead of starting a revolution, 
just sit back and look for stations on the 222 band!   I plan to fdo 
just that starting a bit before 00:00 UT tonight.  Get on or about 
222.100 and look for others doing the same thing. I am hopeful that we 
get a chance to work K1PXE in Milford, CT.  The first person to work 
K1PXE gets bragging rights and possibly a chance to enter the Karaoke 
trials at Bucky's Tavern in Buxton, Maine. I hear there is stiff 
competition. Lots of hefty girls with brass pipes!!  The Activity 
Committee is working on a Karaoke deal as we speak.
