Makes no sense to me, but it's working again! Read on only at your own
risk of wasted time:

1. I rebooted the computer and SUB-29-ENT for the rig several times to
no avail.

2. I shut off the rig and pwer supply for awhile (voo-doo stuff) - and
then hard reset - no diff

3. I actually SHUT DOWN the computer (power off, instead of RESTART).

4. My PTT/BAUDOT lines were plugged into the rig and computer when this
happened, but the serial cable going to the CAT connector was NOT
connected to the computer when it got weird - I plugged the CAT
connector back in.

5. NOW it works, but I don't know why. Guess I can put the nitro back
away - (kidding - none here even if I really needed it!)

Since the CAT cable wasn't even plugged into the computer when things
got weird, there's no way that the computer set something weird in the
rig, and even if it had, the RESET should've cured that. Plugging the
CAT cable into the computer should NOT have had any effect on curing the
problem, but it's in the list of things I did!

SRI bandwidth - thanks for letting me talk to myself here! 73
