[WriteLog] Auto-save

Bob,

Last December I made the same comments about the auto-save feature,
which doesn't work.  It still hasn't been fixed.  I don't understand
why, since, as you say, it is very annoying in a contest.  I hope
someone eventually will deal with this.  Thanks for bringing up the
subject again..
