[WriteLog] USB and 5-bit ?YES!

Well, Rajiv (N2RD) mentioned the USB->serial adaptors at
http://www.ionetworks.com/products/pcp.html.  I left them email
yesterday and received the following response which would tend to
disagree with the earlier post that USB doesn't support 5-bit code:

Thanks for your email.  Yes, our Edgeports support 5-bit code.  If you
are
interested in ordering, you can do so right off our website by printing
out
our orderform and faxing in your credit card info.  Please let me know

Any further info/comments??  It *APPEARS* that these adaptors would work
with Writelog and FSK Baudot code.  73
