Hi Robert,

You can connect the signal from sound card to different places:

1. AFSK (for RTTY as AFSK and PSK31 modes) you can use "Packet Connector" of
your MP at rear panel:
* Soundcard transmit audio signal connect to DATA IN
* Receive signal from MP to Soundcard take from DATA OUT
* If you have any unused comport take its DTR signal to PTT

2. RTTY as FSK - use "RTTY Connector" at rear panel of MP.
3. If you want to play SSTV, Feld-Hell and other "SSB - digital" modes or
call in SSB from the computer (just for WriteLog's DVP) you can connect LINE
OUT to the PATCH input.

In all above configurations you can forget to disconnect microphone, do not
use PROCessor in digital modes also it is not necessary to use VOX to start
transmitting. My suggestion is to take RX signal from one connector (e.g.
from RTTY) and connect it to LINE IN in sound card and signal from sound
card's LINE OUT connect with all three places: RTTY, PACKET and PATCH
connectors. Then you choose the mode by press the "mode key" and you can
work.

I hope it helps.
