[WriteLog] modules

Sorry to be so dense, but once I have a module, such as voltrtty.ini,
what do I do next? I unzipped it in the program directory  (ok, folder)
and obviously need to do something else to use it. I have reviewed every
page of the printed help manual and looked in the online help and still
haven't found the next step.
