[WriteLog] Got Soundblaster recording/playback to work!

Thanks Phil for your reply.  
Even before your reply, I discovered I had microphone checked MUTE.
Everything works FB now.  
I've used a software program (MSDSP) for HSCW (high speed CW) which uses the 
soundblaster for send and receive.  I think I'll find the controls and 
cabling very similar for using the Soundbalster as a DVR.  I hope!
My nect step is to enter my Writelog registration code and, palms sweating,
 boot up the program.
