Does anyone have a cable made up that combines the three functions of rig
control, CW sending and PTT for a Kenwood TS-870S? If so can I get a
description/diagram of the cable/circuit. I have a cable now for rig control
and a separate cable for sending CW. Each is on a separate COM port and
works fine. I understand that all three functions can be incorporated into
one cable tied to one COM port. It sounds good to me. I was reading in the
TS-870 manual, page 83, about the use of the RTS and CTS lines for rig
control by the TS-870. I was also reading in the Writelog manual about the
use of the DTR and RTS lines for sending CW, making up a Y cable, using
jumpers, etc. I'm confused. Any help would sure be appreciated.

Thanks, Roger, W1EM
