I think there is a distinct difference in asking someone the following
question, "How many VK's did you hear on this weekend", as oppossed to,
"Which VK's did you hear/work".

There is a distinct difference between checking and correcting your log and
that of "massaging" the log. Barry is right you shouldn't massage the log.
However, the rules clearly state, "Logs must be checked for duplicate
contacts, correct QSO points, and multipliers." So it is very clear that
the log MUST be checked. 

If you have 4W down as Yemen it is not correct. However, it is my
understanding that all logs will now be put in Cabrillo from all software
and that thing [cabrillo] doesn't deal with points, Mults, dupes or the
such. It merely takes the data and looks at all the logs and comes up with
the scores and winners.

Isn't automation nice.
